Objects:

to relieve poverty and/or advance education for the benefit of children of a free mason who is or has been a member of the united grand lodge and which such children have not completed their educational or vocational training. see the royal masonic trust for girls and boys (285836) see the royal masonic trust for girls and boys (285836) the object of the charity is the advancement of education by the provision of a prize (hereinafter called “the fellowship”) to be awarded to such children (including adopted children and step-children and children of the family) of freemasons, or who are freemasons themselves under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england (“ugle”) and whose age does not exceed 25 years, on application who either: (a) are in their final year of secondary education or in tertiary education at the royal masonic school for girls or at such other school or schools as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit; or(b) have completed their secondary or tertiary education and are taking a break from full time education, with the intention to re-engage in full time education; or(c) are undertaking a course of higher education at university or equivalent academic institution. provision of a prize for boys and girls being petioners of the r m i g r m i b or masonic trust for girls and boys in their final year at rickmansworth masonic school or other such schools as trustees shall decide. the relief of poverty and the advancement of education by the provision of residential accommodation for daughters of free masons. the relief of need, hardship or distress of persons who are children (including adopted children, step children or other children of the family) of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england or former pupils of any school of the royal masonic institution for girls or the royal masonic institution for boys, or pupils or former pupils of the royal masonic school for girls. the relief in cases of need hardship or distress of persons who are either (i) sons (including adopted sons, stepsons or other male children of the family) of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england, or (ii) former pupils of any school of the royal masonic institution for boys. the relief of poverty and the advancement of education by the provision of residential accommodation for the sons (including adopted and step-sons and children of the family being male) of any age of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england. the relief of poverty and the advancement of education by: a) the assistance of such children (including adopted children and step-children and children of the family) of any age of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england as the council considers from time to time are in need of assistance. b) if and to the extent to which the resources of the fund are not used for the foregoing purpose, assisting any child or children of any age whether or not the child or children of a freemason. the relief of poverty and the advancement of education by:(a) the assistance of such children (including adopted children and step-children and children of the family) of any age of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free andaccepted masons of england as the council considers from time to time are in need of assistance.(b) if and to the extent to which the resources of the charity are not used for the foregoing purpose, assisting any child or children of any age whether or not the child or children of afreemason. the relief of poverty and the advancement of education by:- (a) the assistance of such children (including adopted children and step-children and children of the family) of any age of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england as the council considers from time to time are in need of assistance (b) if and to the extent to which the resources of the trust are not used for the foregoing purpose, assisting any child or children of any age whether or not the child or children of a freemason. the advancement of the education of girls and boys through travel to canada or any foreign country . the relief of poverty and the advancement of education by a) the assistance of such children (including adopted children and step-children of the family) of any age of freemasons under the united grand lodge of ancient free and accepted masons of england as the council considers from time to time are in need of assistance b) if and to the extent to which the resources of the trust are used for the foregoing purpose, assisting any child or children of any age whether or not the child or children of a freemason. the advancement of the education of boys and girls through travel and study in any foreign country in accordance with the rules set out in the schedule hereto. a common investment fund established by scheme of the charity commission dated 10 may 2005 for the benefit of the charities named in that scheme.
