the objects of the cio are for the public benefit and specifically within the area of england and wales:(a) to assist in the treatment and care of persons suffering from brain tumours or in need of support as a result of such illness(b) to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of brain tumours in england and wales through the provision of financial assistance, support, education and practical advice (c) to advance the education and awareness of the general public in all areas relating to brain tumours(d) to provide grants to fund research into the prevention and cure of brain tumours.nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with [section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005] and [section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008]
