Objects:

(1) the objects of the charity are:(a) the relief of poverty, need, financial hardship, distress, sickness, disability, including the effects of wounds and old age by the provision of, or assistance with, housing accommodation for the following persons in order of priority:(i)disabled former officers of the armed forces of the crown and their dependants and who at the time of their appointment as a resident are married or in a civil partnership or in a relationship analogous to marriage.(ii)non-disabled former officers of the armed forces of the crown and their dependants and who at the time of their appointment as a resident are married or in a civil partnership analogous to marriage.(iii)disabled members and former members of all ranks and ratings of the armed forces of the crown, and their spouses, widows or widowers.(iv)members and former members of all ranks and ratings of the armed forces of the crown, and their spouses, widows or widowers.(v)former or separated spouses of members or former members of the armed forces of the crown, who have dependent children living with them; or such persons without dependent children.(b)such charitable purposes, including assistance, for the benefit of the beneficiaries as the trustee decides the objects of the charity are: (a) to relieve need, financial hardship, sickness, disability, the effects of wounds, old age or other like condition by the provision of, or assistance with, housing for the following persons in order of priority: (i) members and former members of all ranks and ratings of the armed forces of the crown, whether regular or reserve, and their spouses, widows or widowers; (ii) former or separated spouses of members or former members of the armed forces or the crown, whether regular or reserve, who have dependent children living with them; (iii) such persons in 3(a)(ii) above without dependent children. (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of beneficiaries of the charity as the trustees decide. the objects of the charity are: (a) the provision of housing accommodation for people in need, hardship or distress with preference given to ex service men and women; (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustee shall decide.(2) subject to the provisions of clause 6 (power to dispose of and replace purpose property) in this scheme , the land identified in the schedule to this scheme must be retained by the trustee for use for the objects of the charity. (a) the provision of housing accommodation for persons who are in need by virtue of financial hardship, sickness, disability or old age in the following order of priority: (i) service and former service personnel and their dependants who reside or have resided in clevedon or the parish of walton-in-gordano; (2) service and former service personnel and their dependants; (3) persons who reside or have resided in the county of somerset; (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustee decides.
