the trustees shall hold the the trust fund on trust either to retain or sell the same or any part of it to invest the proceeds in or on any part of it to invest the proceeds in or on any investment authorised by this deed and to pay or apply the net income and the whole or such part or parts of the capital as they shall in their absolute discretion think fit in furtherance of such one or more charitable purposes as they shall think fit. in each case the trustees may act to further such charitable purposes either by applying such income or capital directly for or towards such charitable purposes or by making grants or donations to such institutions associations trust societies or corporations as are established for charitable purposes only and in any case at such time or times and in such manner as the trustees shall in their absolute disretion think fit
